The principal attraction of this model is the dual purpose, that is to say its versatility.  The handle is comprised of the shoulder, neck and tip of a regular Jazz style drumstick allowing the drummer to create multiple sounds using the same combo drumstick/brush.  Notwithstanding its smaller barrel tip and overall size, expect strong and well-defined sound.
