Total overall length is 33 cm. Total fan width when open is between 6 to 7 cm. Retractable nylon strands.  Produces a higher and shriller sound than steel wire.  Very flexible and lightweight yet can be used with heavy pressure.   Also works well as a “whip” producing harmonic sounds off the drumheads.
