Paulinho Fonseca
Born in Belo Horizonte on June 28, 1966, Paulo Alexandre Fonseca (Paulinho Fonseca) began his music studies in 1986.
He has always strived for original works and has always been involved in the world of rock and pop. A passion in music is Black music, which he incorporates into his sound.
He is one of the founding members of Jota Quest, a pop rock band that gained popularity in Brazil in 1996 after signing a major deal with Sony Music and releasing their first album. Discography

With almost 30 years on the road, the group has reached the milestone of millions of copies sold and streaming. One of Paulinho's main characteristics is his ability to maintain weight and groove, always using his drum kit and electronic resources to enrich the band's songs.
Jota Quest is one of the most renowned bands in the Brazilian pop music scene, performing over 180 concerts a year. The group travels throughout the country, attracting crowds and driving thousands wild during their performances. In 2011, they won their first Latin Grammy with the CD/DVD "15," commemorating the band's 15th anniversary, and in 2012, they won their second Grammy with the CD/DVD "Rock n Rio Live," recorded at the major festival in 2011.
In 2025, Paulinho and the band concluded the tour celebrating 25 years since the release in major stadiums in Brazil.
Everything was filmed and documented, and soon we will have another beautiful recording.
The band doesn't stop, and is already preparing new releases.
