Norival D’Angelo

Norival D’Angelo began his career as a drummer in the 1960s, becoming one of the pioneers of classic rock and soul funk in Brazil. He actively participated in the country's first progressive rock movements, performing hard rock shows with bands such as Beatniks and SomBeat, among others, and performing his first covers of Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple.

After this period, he joined the band Sêcos & Molhados at the height of their success, participating in shows and on the band's second CD, which included the hit "Flores Astrais."

Norival D’Angelo has performed and recorded alongside artists such as:

Roberto Carlos; Luciano Pavarotti; Tim Maia; Erasmo Carlos; Gal Costa; Domenico Modugno; Sarita Montiel; Rogério Duprat; Maria Bethânia; Gato Barbiéri, and in RC Specials with: Seu Jorge; Lulu Santos; Jorge Benjor; Caetano Veloso; Alcione; Rita Lee, among others.

He frequently travels throughout the country performing in concerts, most often alongside Roberto Carlos, and workshops promoting the brands he represents as an endorsee.

He has performed and regularly performs at sacred temples of music around the world, such as Madison Square Garden; Radio City Music Hall (both in New York); and Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

In 2007, he participated in the recording of Roberto Carlos's live DVD for all of Latin America, held in Miami.

In 2010, he participated in the live recording of the DVD celebrating RC's 50th anniversary at the Maracanã Stadium with an estimated audience of 70,000 people.

In 2011, he participated in the recording of the epic DVD "Emotions in Jerusalem" live with Roberto Carlos, held in Israel. From 2005 to the present year of 2014 he has been part of the Emoções em Altomar Project with Roberto Carlos, where every beginning of the year he tours the Brazilian coast, becoming a success on cruises in Brazil.
