Jean Forrer

Jean Forrer is a drummer and music educator from São Paulo, who has been involved in music since 2000. His background includes studies with some of the leading names in Brazilian drumming, such as Ivan Busic, Fernando Schaefer, Amílcar Christófaro, Jean Dolabella, Eloy Casagrande, and Edu Ribeiro, which contributed to the development of a solid and versatile language on the instrument.
He graduated from the technical music program at the Souza Lima Conservatory, where he also taught from 2018 to 2020. He is currently a member of the teaching staff at Bateras Beat (Pinheiros branch) and offers private lessons focusing on technique, performance, and stage and recording preparation.
As a musician, Jean focuses his work on LABORATORI, a band that blends hardcore and nu metal, characterized by sharp rhymes, heavy rhythmic structures, and intense grooves. Since June 2021, he has been a Liverpool artist, using the 5B model of American Hickory, recognized for its resistance, balance and response, essential to his technical approach, marked by intensity, precision and high performance in styles with great sonic impact.
