Jessica Menezes

Jéssica Menezes, 32, a professional drummer, began her career in the gospel world when she was still a teenager. She has performed in pop rock and original rock bands, and then entered the forró market, where she gained notoriety and furthered her career.

Currently trained in popular drums at the UFRN School of Music, she has been conquering her space and gaining recognition.

In 2020, she won the “instrumentalist of the year” category at the 18th edition of the HANGAR DE MÚSICA award, one of the biggest music festivals in the country and the biggest in Rio Grande do Norte.

Among the bands he has played with, the band “Edson Lima e Gatinha manhosa” and the band “Japinha Conde” are on his resume as one of the greatest musical experiences, recording two audiovisual EPs, with hits that reach the mark of 500 million streams on digital platforms, traveling throughout Brazil and also on international tours.

Recognized in her state as a reference in the musical field, she was the first female figure to represent the strength and empowerment of the class at the Natal Drum Festival, the largest drum festival in RN.

Jéssica Menezes has been gaining more and more notoriety, appearing on TV shows, the most recent of which was for Globo Nordeste accompanying artists such as Elba Ramalho, Solange Almeida and Lucy Alves.

Today, she's part of a team of major music brands, and one of her greatest professional prides is being an endorser of Liverpool Drumsticks. For her, representing the brand is the fulfillment of a long-held dream, confirming that she's on the right path.

Today, she defines her career as just the beginning of a great journey, prepared for the future, and unafraid of obstacles. Always ready for new experiences, she gives her best at every opportunity. Her desire to achieve all her projects and dreams fuels her never-give-up.
