Fábio Marrone started playing at age 9 and has never stopped. He studied with several private teachers until he entered the Escola de Música e Tecnologia (EM&T) where he graduated with the master Christiano Rocha.
He has performed / recorded with: Michel Leme, Thiago Alves, Orchestra Arte Viva, Maestro Amilson Godoy, Jarbas Barbosa, Silverio Pessoa, Filipe Catto, Bruna Caram, Claudio Machado, Fabio Augusto, Group 100 Malicia, Trincazoids, O Mandruvá, Luz da Inspiração, Novo Ideal, Calango Trio, Rubens and Ruan, Banda Ameyn, Kras, Som da Vó, Leo and Luccas, Da Lua (percussionist), SRamos, Band Thema, Rodrigo Pereira, Alex Costa, Joabe Vasconcelos, Shimoo, Banda Musical Flash, Edgar Tressoldi, Bruno Migotto, Band Mistura Boa, Orquestra Sinfônica de Caieiras, Siby Nucci, Disapear, Dr. Góes, Fredera (guitarist of Som Imaginario), Oscar Alejandro, Fernando Pontes, among others.
He took part in some competitions like Batuka! Brazil, conceived by the drummer Vera Figueiredo, in the cultural contest "Tributo a Tony Williams," held by the Bosphorus Cymbals, where he was the winner.
Currently part of the band accompanying the singer Peninha (composer of such hits as "Sonhos", "Alma Gêmea", "Sozinho", among others) and group Ponto 3 which holds events and plays in bars. Makes recordings, is a tutor of classes by Skype and EM&T/ IP&T in São Paulo, besides being a contributor to the magazine Modern Drummer Brazil, where he performs works of reviews and interviews.
