Fabinho VIotto

At the age of ten, Fabinho Viotto, as he is known, was already captivated by music. His father was a drummer in the 1970s in a Beatles cover band. He began his musical career attending rehearsals of neighborhood friends who were in pop rock bands.

His eyes never left the drums. "One day, during a break in rehearsal, I sat down at the drum kit and felt completely inspired. I wasted no time, collecting parts from samba school drums, and that was my first drum kit, or rather, a prototype. After a long period of study, I got my first instrument, one of those very simple drums with eucatex shells. After a few years and a few problems, I managed to trade it for a quality one. I became even more motivated, wanting to play all day."

Self-taught until the age of 17, Fabinho began working as a freelancer and earning his first jobs as a musician. He achieved success playing with the Jeito Moleque group from 2004 to 2011. At the end of 2011, he was invited by music producer and bassist Wilson Prateado to join the singer Belo's team of musicians, where he remained from 2011 to January 2016. In February of that same year, he was invited by singer Thiaguinho to join his band, where he is currently the drummer.

“I've worked with hundreds of groups, because every week I'm in the studio recording groups and singers,” says Fabinho, who guarantees that the good side of the profession is becoming a reference for new musicians, sharing and acquiring knowledge and making many friends.
