Allan Rochetti
Born in Bangu, West Zone, Rio de Janeiro, Allan has always been interested in music and, at the age of 12, developed a passion for the drums.
It was at the church across the street from his house that he first encountered the instrument, invited by a school friend who played there. From that day forward, he began studying with local teachers and also at the Jorge Casa Grande drumming school, where he studied for two years.
At 14, he landed his first professional job in the secular world. Since then, he has accompanied artists and bands from various genres in concerts, conferences, and tours throughout Brazil.
Currently, he accompanies MPB, sertanejo, and pagode singers on Rio nights. Allan's main influences include:
Dave Weckl, Camilo Mariano, Luciano Broa, Paulo Bonfim, Rick Lobisomem, Fabinho Viotto, Dennis Chambers, Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, Stewart Copeland, Chad Smith, Carlos Bala, Kiko Freitas, Cuca Texeira, among others.
He has performed with gospel singers, some of whom had a profound impact on him from a very early age, such as Alda Célia (2004), Sérgio Lopes (2006), and Elaine Martins (2007), both at conferences in Rio de Janeiro. He has also performed with singers Wallace Reis (2014/15) and Jennyfer Costa (2018). In the secular world, he also accompanied many, including:
